Welcome to EXPO 2015.
This booklet presents the industry and economy of the Province of Bergamo and aims at
illustrating the opportunities and benefits of investing in our territory, which specialises
in manufacturing. It also aims to build relationships with businesses based in one of the
most innovative and competitive manufacturing hubs in Europe, which has developed
over the last 150 years on the shared values of work and entrepreneurship.
Bergamo has much more to offer than just a strong economy. It is full of environmental
and artistic attractions, some of which are not well known. The EXPO is an opportunity
to get to know the many different aspects of this province.
